Rolling out for iPadOS, tvOS 13, and macOS Catalina, Apple releases its third beta update for iOS 13
Ahead of its final launch, iOS 13 is getting another firmware update, and while it is going public for testers starting from Today, it will do so through the company’s beta program which has been ongoing for months now.
That been said if you have already enrolled for the test program, then you may just have to relax and wait for the over-the-air rollout to reach your device. Otherwise, if you’re interested in taking Apple’s pre-release software for a spin, you do have to enroll on the dedicated page.
The third beta update for iOS 13, as much as it fixes bugs from the previous update also come along with a few new features including a new icon for voice messages in the Messages app, a new rearrange apps button that shows up when you long-press an app, interface tweaks to Photos and the Share sheet, and it fixes a vulnerability that let anyone access the passwords stored in the Settings app without Face ID or Touch ID authentication.
According to GSMArena, all the above-mentioned update should also be built into the third public beta of iPadOS as well, while tvOS 13 and macOS Catalina are receiving unnamed bug fixes and performance improvements in this release as well, so you might watch out for an update on this article.
