Apple Provides Subsidies to its ASP to Encourage Social Distancing

iPhone maker, Apple is providing subsidies to its Authorized Service Providers that offer repairs on pickup and drop-off basis due to the ongoing pandemic

This move by Apple is to encourage the citizens of the United States and Canada to practice social distancing.
A memo shared with Apple Authorized Service Providers revealed that Apple will provide $20 (₦7,340) for each iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, or Beats repair and $25 (₦9,175) for each Mac repair that is completed on a pickup and drop-off basis.

The company has briefed the technicians on how to qualify for the subsidies, that will be commencing today and offered till further notice.

Ever since the shit down of all Apple’s stores outside China, customers have turned to local Apple Authorized Service Providers for service and support. The customers can only access the AASP in communities where electronics repair shops are authorized to stay open.

This move by Apple will leave the customers no choice than to go to the technicians feeling safe during the ongoing pandemic.

Go to Apple’s website to initiate a repair and find an Apple Authorized Service Provider near you.
