Apple said Tuesday it will begin its annual developer conference, WWDC, on June 22. Apple traditionally reveals latest apps for the iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch and Apple TV at the function.
Apple had confirmed in March that because of the coronavirus pandemic, the event will be online-only, but hadn’t confirmed when it will be hosted.
Apple used the case to confirm other devices, like the Mac Pro, in 2019. For the first half of the year, Apple might have already unveiled several of the latest devices as a streaming display will make it difficult for people to experience and test the new items in person.Apple revealed on Monday the updated iPads Pro and MacBook Air and their newest 13-inch MacBook Pro. Last month, the iPhone SE unveiled too. Many Mac computers can be exposed during the event like a revived iMac.
Since 2017, Apple has not changed the Apple TV yet.
WWDC normally coincides with a big keynote on the first day, and goes through several days of programmer seminars where people can learn about various software capabilities. Typically the most enjoyable aspects include learning the new apps that come to the iPhone, Laptop, iPad, Apple TV and Apple Watch. However, the device usually doesn’t arrive until the fall after Apple launches new iPhones in September.
The Apple Developer feature, which usually has an event calendar, doesn’t mention anything more that WWDC 2020 will launch on June 22 and there will be more updates coming out in June.
