The latest “to-be” flagship of Asus shows a near-edge notch and a triple rear camera
Unlike what we have seen in the past, the new Asus flagship comes with a tiny notch that places almost to the edge of the smartphone, thus looking like a “cliffhanger booger” as some sources tagged it. The notch is similar to that of the previous zenfone lineups, however, differs in terms of positioning which is close to the end of the top-right side of the screen.
While many are wondering about why the mobile brand has deviated from the norm, some others are wondering why such deviation is coming from Asus. However, its all in the name of revolution. While these design choices might not be final or even real, but the aesthetic crime that Asus seems to be committing isn’t the size of the notch, but its positioning. It’s definitely something you won’t be able to ignore while watching videos or playing games.
The flagship teases an increased screen, and a close to ending embedded front-facing speaker like on the Pixel 3 XL. It also features a finger print sensor at the back of the phone right beside the triple camera setup, ruling out the inclusion of an in-display sensor, as seen on the recently announced OnePlus 6T. The triple camera will be the first of its kind for Asus so far Which has treaded on dual camera for its previous flagships. There is no specific date stated for the launch of the smartphone, however, it should be rolling out any moment soon.
