British Airways Suspends Flights Going To China


British Airways have stopped all flight going to China as a result of the Coronavirus outbreak in the country

According to a new report by Reuters, the company in its email said, “We apologize to customers for the inconvenience, but the safety of our customers and crew is always our priority.

The British Airways website, has no has of this moment has no flight to China. According to the company, flight to China will be suspended until an order is received from British officials.

British Airways is not the only airline that stopped its flight to China. The United States also stopped its flight to China, but not for safety reasons. Shedding more light they said the stoppage was due to the decline in demand.

The company announced the cancellation of its flights, due to a warning from the British Foreign Office against travelling to mainland China, except on necessary occasions.

As we speak, the UK is making preparations to evacuate its citizens from Wuhan and the surrounding Hubei province as a result of the corona disease. The disease is re[oerted to have claimed 132 lives in China and over 6,000 people worldwide are currently infected with the disease.

It would be recalled that because of the coronavirus, tech companies like Facebook, LG, and global gaming hardware manufacturing company, Razer refused to let their employees travel to China.
