In its latest acquisition, the French Company now owns the Africa film studio, alongside its international TV network which includes production, content distribution, and publishing channels- ROK 1, ROK, 2 and, ROK3.

The French media house plans to strengthen its content production reach in Africa which also cut across Nigeria, and its recent acquisition is one of its plans.

As expected, ROK will still continue the production of Nollywood contents, and in this case thousands more. In addition, it will now spend more on original content, and TV Series specifically for CANAL+ Group’s audience in FSA. At that CANAL told that it will continue to collaborate with IROKO Ltd, with a non-exclusive content distribution of ROK content via the IROKOtv SVOD app.
