British comedy series “Trying” is coming to Apple TV+ alongside the episodes of “heartfelt”
Web television service, Apple TV+ will be streaming British comedy series ‘Trying’. “All Jason and Nikki want is a baby. But it’s the one thing they just can’t have. Starring Rafe Spall and Esther Smith, “Trying” is a new comedy series about growing up, settling down, and finding someone to love,” Apple said while describing the new brand.
The series was made by BBC studios and is written by former stand-up comedian, Andy Wolton. It is also the first original series from the U.K. to launch on the Apple TV+.
The story is based on Nikki (Esther Smith) and Jason (Rafe Spall) who want a baby. There is however a problem—-they cannot have a child. How will they survive without a child for 50 years? After trying out all possible options, Nikki and Jason decided to adopt, but they are however confronted by a world of baffling new challenges. With their dysfunctional friends, screwball family like the plot described, and chaotic lives, will the adoption panel agree that they are ready to be the parents they have always dreamt to be? Find out on Apple TV.
What a great plot. Just imagine not having a child to take after your name and legacy once you are gone and that for 50 good years! That is so scary. Judging from the plot, the story is going to be an interesting one and I enjoin you, people, to watch.
For those interested, Apple TV+ is priced at $4.99 (₦1,943) per month. It is also free for a year for those who just purchased an iPhone, iPad, Mac, iPod touch, or Apple TV.
