Search engine giant, Google has finally launched a new website that will help people monitor the spread of the deadly coronavirus among other necessary and important updates
Although coming slightly late than expected, the launch of the new website, follows the initial launch of a screening website by Google sister copany- Verily, although, only for the Bay Area and as such only offered tests to a very small number of people.
In the latest development, Google’s new website will offer a lot of resourceful information and updates on amidst the ongoing spread of COVID-19, which has now been confirmed positive for more than 280,000 persons as of the time of writing this article.
Some of the important information that will be accessible on the new website includes information tabs for symptoms, prevention, global statics, and locally relevant information among other things.
As seen in the image above, the website is linked to International Health organizations including Centre for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the World Health Organization (WHO), both of which are trusted sources of information in this case.
Also, the website seems a lot more State-based (the US) than a general platform, although, people around the globe can also pick useful information that matters with the current situation. That been said, the United State Citizens will be able to “find resources in the US” by only selecting a State or Region in which they belong.
