Google Parent Company Alphabet Is Now Worth $1 trillion

Google owner Alphabet which was created through a corporate restructuring of Google on October 3 years ago, is now worth $1 trillion. That is a whole lot of money

This gives Alphabet the opportunity to join companies like Apple and Microsoft who are also worth $1 trillion (₦361,500,000,000,000.00). This is the first time three American big company are worth the same amount at the same time.

The establishment of Alphabet was prompted by a desire to make the core Google internet services business cleaner and more accountable while allowing greater autonomy to group companies that operate in businesses other than Internet services

Apple which is the most desired company in the United States is worth $ 1.4 trillion (506,100,000,000,000), while Microsoft is worth $1.3 trillion (₦469,950,000,000,000). The shares of Alphabet is off to a red hot start this year, rising more than 8% already in 2020. Amazingly, the rest of the tech sectors are also doing great thanks to the trust about phase one trade deal between the United States and China and solid fourth-quarter earnings from many big banks.

Oil giant Suadi Aramco the most profitable company in the world went public last month when it was valued at about $2 trillion (₦723,000,000,000,000) and is currently worth around $1.8 trillion (₦650,700,000,000,000).
