Google Photos Now Allow Text Search

Google Photo update

Google has over the months been implementing the development of product-driven changes and one of such is the introduction of a Text search in its pictures.

While up until now, the brand had been very familiar with AI innovations to make user experiences a lot better than presumed.

At the moment, users can go into their Google Photos app and type any text, which they know is on a screenshot or a photo.

If the intention is to copy it, just click the Lens button on the bottom and you’ll have highlighted words for copy/paste. However, our experience with some handwritten notes shows that Google struggles with cursive as well as less known words and abbreviations.

The brand also replied tweets from curious users who asked questions based on the new development.

So, the brand has confirmed the development stating that it had begun to roll out the development over a month. Perhaps we would be getting more surprise updates from the brand on existing products.
