Grand theft Auto, popularly known by its Abbreviation GTA, would be returning to steam by March 18th next month, although the game is currently undergoing some revamping processes ready to be delivered at the due date. The Rockstar, reportedly would be replacing a few of the already existing GTA games such as: Grand Theft Auto IV and Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City, with Grand Theft Auto IV: Complete Edition. Anyone who previously owns either of this might have to updated or replaced.
In as much as it is good news that the game would be coming back, some of its features and functionalities would not return with it, ergo the multiplayer mode and a selection of radio stations is also disappearing temporarily. These include RamJam FM, Self-Actualization FM, and Vice City FM (a station from Episodes from Liberty City). Rockstar has removed music from GTA overtime so this isn’t news but fortunately they claim that i simply a temporary change.
Rockstar isn’t the only company that has had to remove GFWL from the functionality of its games, other companies have been taking it out since Microsoft moved on from it, but other companies over a decade ago succeeded in disengaging from it. One can only hope that the additional updates that have been given to this 12 year old game would stand solid.
