Onto the more detailed instructions! It can be used on any form of Instagram Story if you have access to the Music sticker. Once you build your Tale, you’ll find it when you tap the sticker icon at the top of your screen (the little square with a smiley face). To get going click the Music sticker. When you do, a new screen will open where you will be able to scan for music according to Common, Moods and Genres. Instagram provides a range of common music and is allowed in your Instagram stories for download. However, you can only use up to 15 seconds at a time (the length of a story) and the sticker will be displayed on your Story while the song plays, with the name of the song and the artist listed.
Scroll through and press the play button to sample tracks, or use the “Search music” area at the top of the page to scan for anything unique.
Just click on them to add a song to your story. This will open a new screen where you can keep and drag the box in the center of the timeline of the song to pick the segment of the song you want to perform in your plot.
For video posts the song duration is matched to your video clip duration by choice. For static picture reports, the default duration is 15 seconds, but to shorten the clip you can tap the button which says “15 SECS.”
Upon completion, tap “Done.” This will add the sticker to your post! Hold and drag to reposition or resize, then tap the various display options you can see below.
