Google integrated Podcast to its search engine a while back, however, searching for a specific one could be very tasking, and that is why the tech giant rolls out a new algorithm that will help filter specific searches.
This new development comes as a result of the increasing investment in Podcast service by various platforms including the likes of Apple and Spotify who have recently been investing heavily in the business.
That been said, it is important to know what exactly you want if you intend to search for any of the many podcast contents available on Google mighty search engine without having to go through stress. Below are steps to follow when searching for a particular podcast.
- Firstly, head straight to Google.com on any of your smart device,
- Then, enter the term you want to find with “podcast” as a suffix or prefix. For example, if you want to search for podcasts related to Avengers: Endgame, enter “Endgame podcast” as a search term.
- After that, Skim through episodes displayed in search and hit play on the one you want to listen to.
While adding the word “podcast” to your search is not meant to be a thing, Google informed that you won’t be required to add it to your searches any longer in the nearest future. In addition, it also told that it will be adding the feature to the Google Assitant and the Google stand-alone app for Podcast, by then, it won’t be a stressful thing searching for your favorite podcast series, and episodes.
