Apple has begun rolling out a new Apple music feature on its devices that allows subscribers to be notified of new albums, songs, and videos included in their music library
According to the news report, the notification shows at the top of the Library tab in the Music app. You do not need to subscribe to Apple Music to get the notification, it will be pushed to your device’s Lock Screen and Notification Center.
Subscribers are going to love this new app, giving the fact that they relate to content that is available in Apple Music.
For those who may find the notification irritating, here are a few steps to take to turn it off:
- The first step is that you go the Music app on your Apple device (iPad, iPhone)
- Then select the “For You” Tab
- Once you have done that, Tap the notification
- Lastly, turn off the switch next to New Music.
Or you could go through another route, which is to turn off all notifications from the Music app by launching the Settings app. The select notification and then Music, you will then see a button next to Allow Notifications, switch it off.
