How To Use Picture-in-Picture For YouTube On Your Mac


Enabling pictures for YouTube on your Mac is quite easy. If you are the type of person that likes to play music while working, or you like to do more than two things at a time, then picture-in-picture is just for you.

These great tips could really be of great help to you 

  1. The first thing to do is to right-click twice on the YouTube Video. This will get you the menu that will allow you to copy the URL of the video. Once that is done, you input the code and then you can do other kinds of stuff.

2. The second thing to do is to click on the Picture in Picture menu and your video will shrink down to a smaller size.

3. The third thing to do is to open a new tab and the video will keep playing. You can also open several tabs if you want.

4. In controlling the video, just move the cursor over the video. You can pause and restart it, take it out of PiP mode.

5. If you want to move the small video window around, just press down with one finger on your touchpad and use the other finger to move the window around your screen. In case you are using a mouse, use the Command key to operate it.

There are other ways in which you can start Picture-in-Picture. When your video playing, just right-click on the volume icon in the tab. The menu will include the “Enter Picture in Picture” command.
