iOS 12.3.2 Released With Bug Fix For Portrait Mode

0

If you’re an iPhone user and you’re encountering some issues with the phone’s Portrait Mode, then you might want to update your phone. This is because Apple has recently issued an update to its iOS operating system where it will bump it up to version 12.3.2. As you might be able to tell by the version number, this is less about new features and more about bug fixes.

According to the changelog for the update, Apple notes;

iOS 12.3.2 resolves an issue that could cause Camera to capture Portrait mode photos without depth effect on some iPhone 8 Plus devices.

As the company notes, the problems seem to mostly affect the iPhone 8 Plus, so if you’re not using that particular model, you should be good to go. We’re not sure how widespread the problem was as we haven’t really come across reports of the issue at hand, but either way, it’s good to know that the bug has since been squashed.

The update is already in the process of being rolled out to users so if you haven’t updated your iPhone 8 Plus just yet, now might be a good time to do so. As usual with updates, make sure that you’re plugged into a power source and connected to WiFi if you’d rather not blow through your data cap or have your device shut down suddenly.
