The Microsoft Surface Earbuds set to be released has been delayed to spring 2020 (probably March or April)
According to a tweet by Microsoft’s Chief Product Officer (CPO), Panos Panay, Microsoft is still working on getting the Surface Earbuds right, hence the delay of the earbuds. “Product-making is about the relentless pursuit to get all the details right, which takes time sometimes more than we planned on. To ensure we deliver the best possible experience for you, our fans & customers, Surface Earbuds will now launch worldwide in Spring 2020.” Panay said.
The Surface earbud is designed with an ultra-comfortable design, intuitive touch, and voice controls, screen-free access to Office 365, immersive sound, and an all-day battery. Since it is a product by Microsoft, there will be integration with Microsoft where you can actually do things like control PowerPoint presentations by sliding on the earbuds.
The earbuds were initially set for release this holiday season, but it seems that Microsoft has since delayed its release for reasons best known to them. Microsoft is also boasting a battery life of up to 24 hours when used together with the charging case that comes with it. The Microsoft Surface Earbuds will be priced at $249 (₦ 90,262.50).
