Samsung Galaxy A70 officially unveiled

Over the years, Samsung’s mid-range smartphones have unarguably improved. The company over time has incorporated features that might have otherwise been reserved for their flagships into these range of smartphones. Such is the case with the recently announced Samsung Galaxy A70.

It is part of Samsung’s Galaxy A mid-range series and it comes with some pretty decent specs. Starting with the display, it seems that Samsung has opted to give it an edge-to-edge display with a U-shaped notch at the top of the screen. It is a 6.7-inch display with a resolution of 1080×2400 which is actually quite big. It also uses an octa-core chipset, although Samsung does not mention the make or model, and is accompanied by 6 or 8GB of RAM. It will also feature a triple camera on the back with a main 32MP f/1.7 camera, an ultra-wide 8MP f/2.2 camera, and a depth-sensing 5MP f/2.2 camera. On the front, there will be a 32MP f/2.0 camera.

The phone will also be packing a 4,500mAh battery which should last you an ample amount of time, and will also support Super Fast Charging. There will also be the use of an on-screen fingerprint sensor and facial recognition for security. No word on pricing yet, but Samsung is expected to officially announce more details on the 10th of April, so check back with us then for more updates.
