Recently, there have been rumours swirling around that Samsung could have a new smartwatch in the works dubbed the Galaxy Watch. Now according to a new discovery, it seems that the smartwatch could be offered in more than one size.
If the reports are accurate, the upcoming Galaxy Watch could be offered in a 1.19-inch offering and a 1.3-inch offering. However, given that the difference in size is a mere 0.11-inches, it remains unclear if it will be visually obvious, but for those with bigger wrists or hands, we can imagine that a slightly larger watch face will not be a bad idea.
Also, there have been claims that the Galaxy Watch could be powered by Google’s Wear OS due to its Galaxy branding which is typically reserved for Android-powered devices. However, a more recent report claims that the Galaxy Watch is expected to continue using Samsung’s Tizen OS platform.
Either way, we should find out soon enough as the Galaxy Watch is expected to be announced alongside the Galaxy Note 9 which is scheduled for the 9th of August.
