If you’re a Samsung Galaxy Note 9 owner who might have been feeling a little vexed that there was no Android Pie update for you in 2018, not to worry because according to new reports, it appears that Samsung is pretty eager at kickstarting 2019 with some good news. The report claims that the stable version of Android 9.0 Pie is being rolled out to Galaxy Note 9 owners starting in Germany.
Although it could take a while before the update is pushed out to users around the world, the fact that the update has begun is a good sign. The stable version of the update weighs in about 95 MB for those who were previously on the beta, suggesting that the changes made might not have been too significant.
This also seems to be in line with what Samsung had previously promised, which was that both the Galaxy S9 and Note 9 would be getting the Android 9.0 Pie update in January, and it seems that things are on track as far as the Note 9 is concerned, and hopefully the update for the Galaxy S9 won’t be too far behind.
