I guess I am not the only one who hates to have a scratched phone, but these little scratches cannot be avoided. It is just annoying that they reduce the market value of your phone immediately. Nevertheless, with a few simple home tricks you can always get those scratches off your phone easily without struggling.
However, please note, before you try any of these tricks make sure you turn off your phone and every port on the phone should be properly sealed with a tape. If you can remove your battery, please do so.
Toothpaste does the trick faster than you can imagine. All you need to do is to dab a little paste on a cotton wool or soft cloth. Gently rub the paste on the scratched surface in a circular motion. Kindly repeat this motion until you see the scratch go away. After this, proceed to wipe the toothpaste off your phone with a damp cotton wool or cloth. Ensure to use a soft cloth, so you do not end up scratching your phone further with thick fabrics.
Baking Soda, can now teleport from just being a raising agent into a phone-cleaning agent. Mix a little portion of baking soda in water to make a thick paste, and apply the paste gently in a circular motion on the scratched area on your phone. After you are sure the affected area has properly been covered, wipe off the baking soda solution with a damp cloth to remove all excesses.
Perhaps I was the only one who played the vegetable oil trick while growing up. Well, vegetable oil can also help you cover scratch on your phones. Unlike the other mediums, this some kind of temporary way of masking the reality of having a scratched phone. As little as a drop of oil can temporarily cover that scratch on your phone, until you can try a more lasting solution.
You could try the baby powder trick too. All you need is to make a baby powder paste with water and apply it in a circular motion on the scratched surface of the phone gradually until the scratched part is evenly covered. When you are done, simply wipe off the baby powder solution with a damp cloth to remove all excesses.
