Gaming Computers has suddenly found its way to the limelight and most tech brands are not slowing down at all to build their own flagship
While several companies have already built a model of gaming CPU, like Asus, Dell, Acer, HP, Samsung among many others, Walmart, an American multinational retail corporation that operates a chain of hypermarkets, discount department stores, and grocery stores, has decided to own its own line of Gaming laptops. The grocery company plans to join in the gaming business, Partnering with Esports Arena on a lineup of three laptops and three desktop towers designed specifically for gamers. The partnership deal was made on Monday and full details on the deal have not been let out so far.
The new gaming laptop that is called “OverPowered” will only be sold on the retail company’s website, at walmart.com. The company teases to hold their own in gameplay. They sport Intel Core i7 CPUs, 32 gigabytes of memory working with high-capacity HDDs and SSDs, and up to 1080Ti Nvidia GeForce GTX graphic cards. All are also ready for virtual reality.
The PCs are currently on sale and are available for preorder at Walmart.com, with a starting price of $999 (N362,637) for the lowest cost laptop, while its desktop counterpart costs $1,399 (N507,837).
