Xbox One ‘Phantom’ controller adds a white alternative to its lineup

A new Phantom controller-type is on its way, and it is a beautiful piece of artwork

Are you thinking of switching your phantom controller for Xbox One? then you may like to put the latest controller-type into consideration. Microsoft has just announced a beauty of a Pad–I mean a partial see-through pad which is the second model for the Phantom series. The new Phantom model is not totally an alien, rather it has only packed but a few new features like the partial-transparency, and the white-color alternative.

The Phantom series 2 is slated to go on sale for $70 (₦25,190) starting from April 2nd, following its predecessor–the black Phantom controller released late last year. Both of them feature a two-tone finish with see-through elements transitioning to solid paint toward the grips.

With that been said, the Phantom controller 2 still packs a neat look, even if it isn’t the reworked Elite “V2” controller suggested in rumors last year. Functionally it’s the same as Microsoft’s other standard Xbox One controllers, with Bluetooth and a headphone jack aboard. If you are looking for something with a similar color scheme but slightly upmarket, there’s an all-white version of the Elite controller that launched last fall and is still selling for $150 (₦54,000).
