Users of YouTube Music app can now listen to lyrics of songs they are playing on iOS and Android apps

A lot of users have been complaining about the platform not having lyrics to follow when playing their songs, now they can jump for joy. The stress of searching for the lyrics of a song is somewhat tedious.

To access the lyrics, when you have a song open in the app, just tap the “i” button on the left side of the screen and “Gbam!” the lyrics will show up at the bottom of the tracking bar of the song.

This is what it will look like after it’s done:

As we all know, not all songs have lyrics, YouTube, however, said that it gets updated lyrics from LyricFind on a daily basis,

Apple Music and Spotify can also show lyrics while you’re playing a song, and on some songs, those services can advance lyrics forward in real-time as the song is playing. Right now, all of YouTube Music’s lyrics are static, so you have to scroll down manually if you want to follow along with the track.
