YouTube for desktop gets an updated full-screen mode

Back in the day, if you wanted to watch a YouTube video and check the comments at the same time, you couldn’t because of its setup. However, according to a new report, it appears that YouTube has since updated its desktop platform where users can now actually continue scrolling down to the comments section and also see suggested videos on the side while in the full-screen mode.

Prior to this, users who wanted to access the comments or suggested videos would have to exit fullscreen mode. That being said, it should be noted that this only applies to videos you watch directly from YouTube’s main website. This means that if you watch an embedded video and fullscreen it, this feature won’t be available.

These changes to YouTube for the desktop should already be live for everyone, however, if you don’t see it, not to worry because it will eventually make its way to you, so you can go ahead and take it for a spin if you didn’t already notice it.
